Ackert Electric is located at 1265 Main Street in Coventry Village. The office is in one of the renovated Tracy Shoddy Mill buildings which once house the South Coventry Fire Department.
The owner/manager Tim Ackert has been in the electrical field since 1981 where he gained his training in the United States Air Force. Tim has been managing an electrical business since 1987 and start Ackert Electric in 1993.
MEET THE OWNER - TIM ACKERT
Tim Ackert began his illustrious career in the electrical field with a sense of duty and commitment by proudly joining the United States Air Force. It was here that he received his foundational training as an electrician, honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience. After completing his service to his country, Tim returned to his home state of Connecticut to continue his passion for the electrical trade. In addition to his professional endeavors, Tim is a dedicated public servant, serving as a state representative in the Connecticut General Assembly. His commitment to his community extends beyond his political role; Tim actively participates in various local initiatives and enjoys giving back through volunteer work and community projects.
Tim's life is also enriched by the time he spends with his family and friends. He cherishes these moments, whether they are spent at gatherings, celebrations, or simply enjoying each other's company. Another of Tim's favorite pastimes is spending time at the beach, where he finds relaxation and inspiration by the ocean.
